Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club or just Brighton is the top-tier football team which plays in the Premier League. The club was founded 118 years back in 1901 and their home ground was Goldstone Ground till 1997. In their early era, they played in the Southern League and then selected in Football League in 1920. The club enjoys the greatest era from 1979 to 1983 when they reached FA Cup Final and plays First Division. They relegated from the First Division after losing that Final match against Manchester United in 1983.
After the 1990 Brighton had a bad time with fall into the 4th tier of English Football. They also had financial issues and just miss from relegation of Football League to the Conference in 1997. Dick Knight the Life President of the club saved it that time and makes it again stable by his efforts. After the successive years in 2001 and 2002, the club climbs into the second tier. They were homeless for 14 years and return to Falmer in 2011, which is their current home ground. Brighton ends up second in the EFL Championship 2016-17 season which results as the team becomes the top flight again. This win promotes them in the Premier League after the 34 years of absence. The 2018-19 season is the 2nd consecutive for the club in Premier League from their 118th-year existence.
