The following statement regarding Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Crystal Palace was made public by the Premier League.
Brighton and Hove Albion F.C.'s home match against Crystal Palace F.C., scheduled to start at 15:00 BST on Saturday, September 17, has sadly been postponed as a result of the club's request to the Premier League Board.
The decision was made as a result of unusual circumstances related to the scheduled rail network strike, which prevented authorities from authorizing the game to be played without fans' access to public transportation.
The match had already been postponed after the Premier League spoke with teams, the police, the SAG for Brighton & Hove City Council, and other pertinent authorities to explore other options.
In due course, a new date for the postponed game will be revealed.
